Is the carnival only on Saturday?
Where can I park?
All roads lead to parking – there shall be 3 well signed major parking areas as you enter Imbil (please see map):
- From the North: Cnr Ballard & Kandanga-Imbil Roads
- From the West: Yabba Rd (next to Mary Valley Traders)
- From the East & South: Edward St (Mary Valley Showgrounds)
A small parking fee of $5 applies
What can I eat?
Imbil has some great local eateries and there will be specialized food stalls throughout the village
Can I bring my dog?
Dogs welcome if on a lead. Please be mindful that there shall be lots of people about, and possibly other dogs so if your pooch isn’t good in crowds it may not be the place for them.
When does the carnival start?
8am on Saturday 20th April – Carnival Day, however there are other activities occurring across the weekend at Imbil village and surrounds Click for program
What activities are there for children?
Lots of games and activities shall be available for the children at Kids Zone and throughout the event
Will there be somewhere for me to sit and relax?
Yes, there will be areas for visitors to sit and relax throughout the village – whether it be when watching the children enjoy the various activities, listening to the live entertainment or enjoying the scrumptious food on offer.
